Great food and quick service. It's always a takeaway, so ambiance is irrelevant. Love this place!

A friend recommended this spot, so of course I had to come try it. Who doesn't love a good deli Sammy. I ordered online (I get nervous when I go to new places) and got the turkey sandwich. I walked in, picked it up, and decided to go on Kanan and eat in my trunk with a view. The staff was super friendly, since I looked so confused lol. The sandwich was SO GOOD. Their dressing was phenomenal, I got the soft roll which was amazing (I'll get the other one next time) and overall it had the perfect amount of everything needed. I'll def be back - was super good!! Parking: it's in a shopping center - a ton of parking.

I have loved this place since they first started out in Granada Hills. It was THE go to spot for a special lunch in high school. Their Italian roast beef sandwich is beyond words. It's the freshly baked bread that is the key. I'm headed home to So Cal next weekend. My brother and family now live in Agoura Hills. Italia has made it easy for me to indulge. Hope Maria is around! She's a sweetie and played soccer for my dad and with my sister way back in the 1970's. This is also where I tried my first cannoli, epic!!!

This is a gem of a place! Everything in the store looks amazing! The deli is superb! So many choices of meats and cheeses! I recommend this place! They have a great seleselection of gluten free pasta too It's an easy location to get to Clean and great customer service they have fresh items

Got a delicious Italian cold cuts sandwich with provolone & the works on a soft roll after a hike nearby (added pepperoncini & Calabrian chili spread ) and it was exactly what I'd want in an Italian sub! The small size was huge and plenty for 1 person. Only complaint was that the roll is a little small for the generous fillings and the sandwich was pretty messy to eat!

For any fellow Italians out there, they have Colomba for Easter (or any holidays)! I love getting their sandwiches before driving to Malibu for a nice beach day. The staff is very personable. Make sure to grab a ticket when you walk in so you can get your number to order!

I've frequented this deli a few times over the past few years. They have a very diverse menu of hot and cold sandwiches. I've tried the chicken and eggplant parmigiana sandwiches, 8 inch small on a soft roll. I thought the portion for the price was not very good and the small sandwich is not something I'll ever order again. The hot entrees served with pasta are a much better deal and I've had a few of them and all were a good portion, very tasty and served with garlic bread. The service is always very attentive to your needs and polite in interactions. This deli has a great selection of various types of products imported from Italy, products hard to find anywhere else. Plenty of parking and a few tables outside to eat outdoors.

Italia Deli came highly recommended by good friends from Val Surf. My good buddy Nate said it was the first deli he went to in LA (he's from the Upper Peninsula) that made him seek out other delis like it closer to where he lived. Nate knows his sandwiches and I trust him. He never fails me. Ha! The 2nd ringing endorsement was from the Richards Family (Val Surf owners). Brandon said his family get Italia at least once a week... Hearing that from Nate & Brandon, who I've known for a couple of decades now, was all I needed to know. My lady & I were staying in Agoura for the night so the stars aligned for our first time at Italia. They are located in a plaza just off Kanan Road and not too far from the 101. Vons & UPS Store also share the plaza with them. There is shared parking in the lot right out front. Plenty of spaces. My first impression after walking in was shock. This small deli & market was packed. It was wall to wall people. It looked like there were at least 7-9 staff members making sandwiches alone and they were all busy. The rest of the space was occupied by hungry, waiting customers in a sort of organized chaos of get in where you fit in. It was that packed. It was the evening of December 23rd so it was certainly festive inside. We went with a large Italian cold cuts sandwich ($20.99) and its certainly big enough to be share by 2 people. It came with mortadella, cotto salami, molinari salami, & provolone. It was delicious. All sandwiches come with LTO, mustard, mayo & Italian dressing. They will ask you if you want your sandwich on a hard or soft Italian roll. Small is 8 inches and large is 12. I learned that they make their bread daily from scratch in house.... The salamis were great. I really liked them. The mortadella was also very tasty. The bread was great, it wasnt too tough considering, it was actually soft enough to a degree... I would order this sandwich again and the lady really approved of it. It was her choice after all. The deli has all kinds of Italian goods from pastas, panettone, cheese, wines, desserts, etc. We also picked up pasta salad and tiramisu ($6.99)... The tiramisu was delicious and even came in a glass container. Service was friendly despite how crazy busy they were. We would certainly go back to Italia when in the area again. I appreciate my Val Surf family for putting me on to this gem of a deli. Grazie.

This place was listed in an LA Times article about the best Italian sandwiches in Los Angeles, so I had to stop by and see how it stacked up against my personal favorites... I was not disappointed. This is a traditional Italian grocery and deli, with an amazing selection of food! From the outside it appears to be a small shop in a strip mall, but once I stepped inside I was shocked at the huge selection, and almost distracted from my mission of trying their sandwich because everything else looked so good! They have a 'take a number' at the door and even though I was there right at noon, I didn't have to wait more than 2 minutes before my number was called. The person helping me was very friendly and both took my order and prepared my food. If you, like me, are coming for a sandwich, they have a selection of chips and a fridge filled with drink options. Based on the LA Times recommendation I got the Italian Cold Cut sandwich, molinari salame, cotto salame, mortadella, and provolone on a soft roll prepared "as is". It did NOT disappoint, and it now holds second place in my favorite Italian sandwiches in Los Angeles. It was delicious! Now that I've seen the other reviews I want to go back and try the porchetta sandwich! There is a large parking lot, parking was not an issue, if you are picking up there is also a loading zone in front.

Growing up in The Valley I went to this spot quite a few times and always loved it. Going back I had to wonder "Will it be as good as I remember?" The answer to that question is "yes," -- the sandwiches are phenomenal, and it's no secret as there were many people placing their to-go orders too. Albeit busy, the service was phenomenal. One of the guys behind the counter greeted me immediately, probably in less than 10 seconds. He could not have been nicer, and the sandwiches were ready just a few minutes after, allowing me time to peruse the all the amazing imported Italian treats they have in the boutique grocery section of this shop. I got the Turkey & Cheese on crispy Italian bread, it could not have been better! The bread was incredible with a nice crunch to it, the ingredients were super fresh, and all the flavors just worked. My Mom got the Roast Beef sandwich and loved hers as well. The side of pasta salad I got was also pretty tasty, though the sandwiches are the star of the show here. Don't let the simple exterior fool you, amazing sandwiches and Italian treats lie behind that door.
